TILOG–LOGISTIX 2016 proclaims Thai capability

Department of International Trade Promotion (DIPT) and Reed Tradex Co., Ltd. jointly organizes TILOG–LOGISTIX 2016 from 21 to 23 September, 2016.  This show brings together logistics service providers from ASEAN+6 nations, and exhibitors from 25 countries representing 415 leading brands vying with each other their innovative technologies and solutions leading to more business networking.  TILOG–LOGISTIX 2016 includes a Trade Logistics Symposium ‘Towards Logistics 4.0 Era’ and the international seminar on World Transport & Logistics Forum where the World Bank’s assessment of each ASEAN country’s strengths, weakness and competitive ability of their logistics services will be revealed.  Thailand’s role in regional logistics is demonstrated here.

Mrs. Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat, Deputy Director-General of DIPT said that the concept of TILOG–LOGISTIX 2016 is helping Thai entrepreneurs develop logistics suited to 4.0 era using technology, innovation and building business networks to strengthen the capability of logistics service providers and Thai traders while connecting with the global community.

The DIPT together with the government and private sector organizations and Reed Tradex Company had jointly organized TILOG-LOGISTIX 2016 for the second time, although is the 13th year of organizing TILOG exhibition.  This show is now broader and more international in concept which will encourage regional network and linkages while clearly demonstrating Thailand’s role in this region.  This exhibition is the platform for exchange of ideas among logistics service providers at regional and global level.  New technology and innovations will be presented and will inspire more efficient logistics management while improving competitive capabilities of logistic service providers and Thai traders in the world market.

Mr. Isara Burintramart, Managing Director of Reed Tradex Company said that TILOG – LOGISTIX 2016  is the event where government and private sector have joined forces to ensure that this exhibition is a comprehensive trade and logistics exhibition suited to logistics service providers and other allied industries from the ASEAN+6 nations under the theme ‘Unifying the Powers of ASEAN+6 Logistics’ which will build value added for Thai logistics sector and at the same time provide linkages to customer base in Thailand and abroad.

TILOG-LOGISTIX 2016 exhibition is ready to show a comprehensive array of innovations and technology in logistics, transportation, warehousing, and logistics providers, technology owners, solution providers and products and services within the industry from 415 brands from 25 countries.  Visitors will be introduced to the Innovative Logistics 4.0 products i.e. intelligent robots working at hitherto unseen speeds, helping in organization or transfer of goods in areas where human labor find difficulty working in – freezers, cold rooms, chemical warehouses / driverless forklift from Europe operating on laser code / Automated Warehousing and Storage system which can retrieve information accurately and with speed, etc.

The show includes seminars on topics suitable for international logistics and trade for example the International Trade Logistics Symposium “Towards Logistic Era 4.0”, exhibition of Thai logistics, Excellent Logistics Management Award (ELMA) for this year demonstrating the ‘Best Practice’ of the award winner, Best Container Liner Award 2016 for shipping agents and at the World Transport & Logistics Forum (WTLF) findings from ‘Logistics Performance Index’ World Bank Paper 2016 Report will be presented by a representative of the World Bank.  There are altogether 25 seminar topics to choose from.

TILOG–LOGISTIX 2016 will be held 21-23 September 2016 at BITEC, Bangna.  The show has the support of trade associations and leading trade representatives, some more than 500 international logistics providers from China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Malaysia etc.  Around 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the show and participate in business networking.
